Information & Key Date Guide

· July 15th –Annual Deposit, $100, to secure your swimmer(s)’ place on NJRC for coming year.   We need to know how many returning swimmers there are in order to keep the number of swimmers per lane in line with NJRC’s guidelines (see practice groups below).  This deposit will be used for the swimmer’s USS Registration and toward any past balances, and then the remainder will be applied towards the September 15th invoice.  PLEASE NOTE: the NJRC  swimming year begins in early September and ends in early August) There is a 5% discount offered to anyone who pays their swimmer’s Annual Training Fee for the coming year in July.

· September 15th – Payment due, 40% of Annual Training Fees, regardless of whether your swimmer may not swim all of the April thru July sessions.  NOTE: For those swimmers who do not or cannot swim April thru July, you will not be required to make the final payment due February 15th.  NJRC would like to know by January 1 if a swimmer will not be swimming Spring and/or Summer for planning purposes.  Also at this time, new NJRC members will be invoiced for a Meet Escrow Account, from which your swimmer’s meet entry fees will be deducted.

· September 30th – Short Course meet schedule and signup form will be distributed.  Due to the difficulty in getting the team in meets, swimmers must return this form in one week or less, there will be a return date on the form.  The coaching Staff will then enter swimmers accordingly.  The ensuing entry fees will then be deducted from the swimmer’s meet escrow account.  These fees are not recoverable when swimmers are scratched unless done at least three weeks before the meet.

· November 15th – Payment due, 40% of Annual Training Fees.

· February 15th – Payment Due, 20% of Annual Training Fees.  This represents the final payment for your swimmer’s Annual Training Fees for the swimming year which ends in early August.

· April 15th – Long Course meet schedule and signup form will be distributed.  Due back ASAP or less than a week.  Meets close out quick and we need to know to both get into meets and not waste your money on meets you won’t make!  Once you state you want to enter a meet your meet escrow account will be debited.

· May 15th- Annual Meet Escrow Statement generated.  You will be given a recap of your meet escrow charges and balance.  Each swimmer will need to replenish their Meet Escrow Account to an appropriate level based on the swimmer’s prior and expected meet participation.  NJRC will indicate this amount on an invoice sent with the Annual Meet Escrow Statement.
