 NJRC Fall Tryouts

Will be held at 12pm Sat August 9th at the Asbury Park Boys and Girls Club.

-Practice for Friday July 4th has changed from Hazlet to Asbury Park from 7am-8:30am for Jr. Elite and from 7am-9am for the Senior group!

-Junior Elite - Tuesday practice time change to 6 am instead of 6:30 am. 

 

-Dryland training for Tuesday July 8th has been cancelled.

 -Warm Up 8am for 11/12 and Open.

Sat Afternoon

-Warm Up 1:30 for 13/14 and 10 and under girls and boys.

 

Sun Morning

-Warm Up 7am for 11/12 and Open

Sun Mid Day

-Warm Up 12:30pm for mens and womens 1500m

Sun Afternoon

-Warm Up 2:30pm for 13/14 and 10 and unders.

Junior Swimmer Location/Time Change

-Junior 2 day a week swimmers will be swimming on Thursday and Saturday from 8-9:15am at the Asbury Boys Club.

-Please visit the Summer Training 2008 page for summer practice times.

.Triple Crown Ocean Mile Race Series coming this summer! NJRC swimmers please plan on working and/or swimming in all 3 ocean miles of the NJRC Triple Crown Series! The first mile of the series will be on June 28th in Asbury Park, July 19th in Sea Bright and Aug 9th in Belmar.

Dryland Training

Unless it is pouring rain dryland training will be at the 10 ave beach in Belmar every Tue  and Thur at 6pm for all Jr. Elite and Senior swimmers.

Please be on time! 

 

Swimmers interested in swimming for NJRC can request an individual team tryout at anytime. Please call 732-299-4772 if interested.

New Jersey Race Club is a USS team for the swimmer that wants to succeed in the competitive sport of swimming. NJRC will offer the best in training in and out of the pool for the serious swimmer that feels he/she has what it takes to compete at the highest level. NJRC will not allow a swimmer onto Race Club unless their goals meet those of NJRC. NJRC has high expectations for its swimmers. We believe that every swimmer can and will swim fast as a member of NJRC.

 

NJRC strives to instill a high level of self-esteem, positive self-image, goal setting, time management, determination, commitment, dedication and teamwork. Swimming is a lifetime activity and we strive to keep the long-term interest of each swimmer in mind.

 DIRECTIONS TO HAZLET

Take exit 117 to rt 36 south. Make right at 3rd light (KFC on the corner) and go down about a mile and a half until you see the sign for the Hazlet swim and tennis club and make a right.

DIRECTIONS TO AVON

Take Ocean ave over the Belmar bridge into Avon. When you pass the Columns restaurant on your left the pool is the next building on the corner. See you at 5:50!
