New Jersey Race Club Established in 2008

 *NJRC Team Tryouts will be held on Sunday March 25th at the Monmouth University pool at 8am. Swimmers of all ages and skill levels are welcome to tryout for the team. NJRC will start training Long Course in our new Olympic length pool/Fitness Center in May 2012. The NJRC team training facility will be the only 50 meter length training pool in Monmouth and Ocean county where team members can train for the Long Course season all year long! The new team training facility will offer the best in house pool and dryland training available in New Jersey.

New Jersey Race Club is a USS team for the swimmer that wants to succeed in the competitive sport of swimming. NJRC will offer the best in training in and out of the pool for the swimmer that feels he/she has what it takes to compete at the highest level. NJRC will not allow a swimmer onto New Jersey Race Club unless their goals meet those of NJRC. NJRC has high expectations for its swimmers. We believe that every swimmer can and will swim fast as a member of NJRC.

 NJRC strives to instill a high level of self-esteem, positive self-image, goal setting, time management, determination, commitment, dedication and teamwork. Swimming is a lifetime activity and we strive to keep the long-term interest of each swimmer in mind.

If the sport has become a passion, if racing is a thrill like no other, if you can't wait to get to the pool and see your friends, only then is it time to fully commit to the world of competitive swimming. NJRC coaches are not interested in leading talented swimmers if they lack that core love for the sport. The reason: Greatness in swimming requires a complete committment - of time, energy, and effort - that exceeds the demands of virtually every other sport. There is no way around it. The hours are extreme - for swimmers and parents alike. Fortunately, the rewards are just as extreme - and that fulfillment extends far beyond medals or scholarships. SO there is one rule above all else: Love it first! Because when the alarm rings at dawn for another morning workout, something deep down is the only thing that will get you out of bed...
